Are you at all open to simulating any dot-matrix LCD games? Specifically, the incredibly rare Sonic Adventure LCD game by Tiger --- I would see if I can reach out to someone who has it and ask if they can provide reference material. It would be amazing to see that game preserved in this way.

At any rate, this has got to be one of the coolest and highest quality game preservation projects out there. There is so much respect for this important part of video game history that can be found here. You have my full support.

I'm always open to adding  more vintage electronic games to this collection, especially rare ones. Whether an accurate  simulation is possible depends on finding enough reference material like gameplay videos, scans of the instructions and packaging. There is already a topic about Sonic Adventure in the community forum, so if you know of anyone who can contribute they can post resources there.

how do you do it that well? I reimplemented 'hero and princess' from TANDY using phaser.js but yours are incredible!!

Nice job on Hero and Princess! And thanks for the kind words. I've been working on these for a while now so they've  improved a lot over time and I think there's still a lot more I can improve on. If you're interested you can take a look at some work in progress and experimental prototypes here.

If you do add all of those games, then could you add Gold Cliff first? it is my favorite one.

When will you be adding in Blackjack, Bomb Sweeper, Gold Cliff, Squish & Pinball for the Game & Watch lineup?

I plan to add all of them but I'm not sure when that will be.

Are the games not compatible in Firefox browser? I tried and they don't play at all.But on chromium based they work.

Works fine for me on Firefox (v69.0.1). Maybe check that webgl is enabled in your browser settings.

This is absolutely amazing! Thank you very much for this!

Does this count as a emulator?

Also adding "POP Station" (not Brick Game) games would have been a nice touch

It isn't an emulator because it doesn't run the original code (ROM) to reproduce the gameplay. Instead each game is recreated by spending many hours studying the gameplay and then coding the game logic from scratch without making use of any of the original code.

Thanks   a  lot  Zelda !!!    Gakken   search  light   runaway :)

absolutely phenomenal collection!!

Amazing job, this is so cool! I can play super cool retro handheld games whit this!

So,I have a question...Can you make Sega Sonic The Hedgehog of 1992

Dr. Eggman has launched missile attacks at Sonic and the player must evade them. The game starts by allowing the player to choose between level I and Level II (Level II being faster) and then confirming one's choice by pressing the start button. There are four possible paths that the player can choose to go to and at least one of these four paths is clear of any missiles. The player must move Sonic to the open path by either moving left or right. For each missile that the player successfully dodges, the game will add ten points to their score. If the score exceeds 500 points, the player can warp to a bonus stage where Tails will appear to give the player some bonus points. After the initial warp, for every 500 points the player scores moving forward they will be transported to a bonus stage again and receive bonus points. If the player fails to dodge a missile, an "X" mark will appear on the top left of the screen, and should they gain three "X" marks the player will receive a Game Over.

ZELDA'S HERE!

WHAT A DAY!

Amazing!!!

woohoo! love it!

Another fantastic accomplishment! Like it a lot!

I love what you did! I'm having a fun time playing these LCD games on mobile, but i have a few issues, sometimes when the screen zooms in to the game, the buttons barley go off screen, so its hard to push them, and another problem is you cannot press 2 buttons at once (at least from what ive played), this caused frustration in games like Donkey Kong .Jr, otherwise, great collection!

Thanks for playing! Touchscreen support on mobile does need improvement and I'm working on a redesign. For now, if you click the lock icon to unlock the camera you can manually zoom using a pinch gesture till the buttons are in a better position on your screen, then click the lock icon again to save that camera position as the default for everytime you play that game.

Just wanted to say I'm really impressed with what you did here. You're talented. Dunno how you did it. Thanks for the artwork credits. -Lee R

Thank you for the kind feedback and for sharing your amazing work. I'm so glad to hear you're impressed with what's been done so far and I hope you'll follow along as I continue to make improvements and add more features.

SONIC EL ERIZO-TIGRE ELECTRÓNICA (1992)

La sorprendente electrónica de Sonic-Tiger (1994)

JUEGO DE MUÑECA SONIC - TIGER ELECTRONICS (1991)

¡ESO SON TODOS LOS JUEGOS!

¡GRACIAS, EL MEJOR SIMULADOR 3D DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS!

Very nice collection you made, congratulations, just curious, always noticed that Casio has a lot of really good games and only a few are revived, is that for some special reason?

(1 edit)

I would love to add more Casio games. The main constraint is finding enough material to be able to produce an accurate simulation of a game, like videos of the gameplay, scans of the packaging and, most importantly, scans of the original instructions. If you know of anyone who owns any of these games and would like to contribute they can get in touch through the community forum.

You've brought me tons of childhood memories! this is so great! thank you!

Can you add Casio Submarine Battle (CG-330) please? Along with Donkey Kong II (1983) it was my favorite.

I've already done some initial work on Submarine Battle which you can preview here, but I still need to find scans of the original instructions before I can continue.

This is very good can you make the original nintendo 2 screens zelda game pls?

Yes, I do plan  to add Zelda at some point. You can preview the initial build here.

how long till bomb sweeper and Zelda game and watch will come out.

Hello, I never imagined it would be possible to revisit these games, which were part of my childhood again. I saw that there are some, but I was in love with one from Sunwing - RunAway. I even tried to look for it to buy it, but I can't find it or I don't know the right channel to find it. Would it be possible for you to add it?

Thanks for playing and for the great suggestion. Unfortunately there aren't any gameplay videos I can find to recreate the audio and game logic for Sunwing's RunAway. And I would also need to find scans of the original instructions. I will definitely keep looking though.

Hello, I'm back here with news, I discovered that this game from Publisher Sunwing (RunAway) which was what I had at the time, has another Publisher called Q&Q and the name of the game is Patrol Car, the same game and I managed to find 2 videos on YouTube of this game, I'll put them here for you:

I'll try to find the manual. I was happy to have found these videos. I'm impressed with your work here, it's a real treasure.

Nice find! If you create a topic for Sunwing RunAway/Q&Q Patrol Car in the community forum and post these videos, maybe someone in the community might be able to help with more information or resources.

I posted it on the community forum, as you requested, let's wait, I thank you in advance for your attention.
