The game is really cool but there are a lot of missing hitboxes (like you can glitch through the hitbox)

Yup, the hitboxes are janky for sure. This is just an initial prototype I threw together mostly to flesh out the art style and some WEBGL stuff.

Beautiful scene, like those islands that would float in somebody's dream.

Love this dreamlike style, the alluring imagery :D

Thanks!

See you again when you come back to this. ( ̄▽ ̄)o

Hi im exile

Hi! Welcome to your island ;-)

This looks amazing. holy cow!

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback :)

really hope to see get back into this project homie!. id play this for sure!. even if gameplay happened to be dull!.

I came for the Myst-like memories, but stayed for the originality. Lovely! I'd love to be writing storylines for this kind of world.

It's been a while since I worked on this but I hope to get back to it at some point. Thanks for playing!

I may have commented already in the past about this, but I was wondering how you achieved this aesthetic? I'm sure the answer isn't so simple and clean cut but I'd love to be able to make something similar in blender. Is it just as simple as toon shading and thick-ish outlines or is there more nuance?

Besides the outlines, I think your textures themselves should have a sketch/watercolor look to ensure it feels less like a cartoon and more like a drawing.

I would kill to see this art style on a full scale town or something, dark dystopian and foggy in some areas while peaceful and nature filled in others.

That sounds so cool!

The art is absolutely beautiful, however (if you haven't fixed this yet then sorry) I kept walking right through buildings, vases, trees, ground, etc. anything but the green cauldron for some reason. And not sure if this is a bug, but I found three sharks swimming around in the water at once.

Also, please make this a full game, it would be really cool!

Thanks for the feedback. This was just an initial prototype so it's still very buggy. I plan to start work on a full game at some point :) Thanks for playing!

This is beautiful!! please make a full game 🙏

Thanks! Yeah, I will definitely be making this one into a full game :) I just need to find some time to work on it. Thanks for playing!

Its fantastic 👍

Thanks!

this is beautiful!

But having something to do would make it a game :)

Thanks :) I've already designed a few puzzles for this game but just need to find the time to start working on it again. If only I could be left alone on an an island somewhere I could get it done ;)

these days you have no other way than to build that island of isolation yourself, and chill there to gather ideas and muse to build a game about and island in isolation :)

LOL ;)

Really nice! Loved the art and especially the little bunny rabbit.

Thanks alienfae :)

Nice, should be great when done.

Thanks :)

How cute sharks!

I love the artstyle and seagulls' songs

Thanks! You're the first to pick the sharks  over the rabbits for cuteness ;)
Thanks for playing :)

Absolutely fantastic! Can you install this on my server? Great opening! How my I contact you? Telegram? Email? My email orgasmeta@gmail.com

Good art style.

Thanks :)

I like the style a lot! The FOV might be a bit too low for me, I get nauseated easily. Maybe an FOV slider is a good idea? Very nice art style however! This has a lot of promise :)

Thanks for the suggestion :) I'll look into adding a FOV setting.

Very cool effects! I did find a collision bug, if you nod aggressively while walking you can phase through stuff, including the barrier that keeps you on the island

Thanks Nick! Yeah, the collision detection still needs work. Thanks for the feedback!

I really like it! The island was structed in a way that I was very excited to see what was inside the house (even though I knew I'd never see it). I hope you do go through with something at least in this style.

Thanks : )  Yeah, it's been a while since I've worked on this one but I'll hopefully get back to it soon(-ish ; ) Thanks for the feedback!

Very nice artwork and effect.

I think I would enjoy seeing this be the world to play in as something tiny,
like a mouse or a lizard.

That's a great idea! Reducing the size of the player to a creature would make the island seem a whole lot bigger to explore. Thanks for the suggestion :)

if you do that you should probably make the player a bit faster

It is really cool man. Keep it up

Thanks for playing. I appreciate the feedback.

Well done, but maybe you can do some improvements on the textures. They looks good but something feels off.

You should try pressing ENTER and then upping the quality to 100% :)

There is a little glitch in this game, when you go to a wall hold the W button and then look down then up again you go through the wall. But as far as the aesthetics go, its very good.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to fix that in the next update.

This looks really nice!

Here's a set of very low-spec results for you. I'm using Firefox 76.0.1 64-bit on Windows 10 with a 3rd gen Core i5 laptop with no discrete GPU and 8GB of RAM. My screen resolution is 1366 x 768. Standing at the end of the dock looking at the structure, I get 13-16 fps at 100%, 14-18 fps at 75%, 15-20 fps at 50%, 23-27 fps at 25%, and 25-30 fps at 0%.

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. And thanks for taking the time to  test different quality settings on your setup. It's really useful. I'll keep trying to improve on the performance (like maybe dropping shadows at lower quality settings), but unfortunately Firefox is generally slower than Chrome when it comes to WebGL (see WebGL performance tests for Chromium vs Firefox).  Which browser you prefer is obviously a personal choice, but it would be interesting to see if Chrome makes a difference for WebGL games on your setup. Thanks again for the feedback!

The visuals and atmosphere are good in this one man, it's sort of like a mixture of the Bone graphic novels and Return of the Obra Dinn. I look forward to seeing more!

Thanks, man :-)

Hey, thats pretty cool ! I like the athmosphere, the visuals are very cool. The rabbits are so cute. This is interesting !!

Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback.
