Hello Kitty Tennis School
Tomy released five different handheld electronic LCD games based on the fictional Japanese character Hello Kitty (Japanese: ハロー・キティ) owned by Sanrio Co. Ltd. In this game, released in 1983, Kitty joins a tennis school to practice playing tennis.
Kitty has joined a tennis school! Kitty must move LEFT and RIGHT to return the balls hit by the coach, Koro the Bear. Kitty scores 5 points for every successful return. Coach Koro will hit the ball back to Kitty on each volley. The rally continues until Kitty misses a stroke. The game ends if Kitty scores three misses.
From time to time, a mischievous Mole pops his head up from a hole in the middle of the tennis court and gets in the way causing the ball to change direction. If Kitty is quick enough to return this ball 10 points will be awarded.
Coach Koro sometimes makes a mistake, too, and hits the ball into the net. The Ball-Boy Mouse will recover the ball and deliver it to coach to continue the game. Kitty earns 10 points everytime the coach makes a mistake.
As the game progresses the speed will increase for added difficulty.
