Description

Save the planet from the Terminator in this 1988 handheld electronic LCD game, the very first video game based on the Terminator movie franchise.

Gameplay

From out of the future comes a walking stalking nightmare - The Terminator! And he's brought plenty of company with him to terrorize the planet!

There are 4 stages of futuristic mayhem, each divided into four sub-missions for a total of 16 levels of action where you'll be attacked by cyborgs, laser towers, robotic arms, and the Terminator himself. Making matters even worse is the fact that as you advance to later missions you'll face an increasing number of these enemies.

To fight back you'll be equipped with pistols (to kill cyborgs), machine guns (to destroy laser towers) and missiles (to blow up robotic arms and the Terminator). You can never operate more than one weapon at a time, so you'll need to switch between weapons depending on the enemy you're facing.

You have a total of 3 chances in each game. You lose a chance if you're killed. The game is over if you lose all your chances. But if you can survive all the way through all 16 levels you will save the planet and win the game!
