Pirate
Pirate is a handheld electronic LCD game released by Sunwing in 1982.
A band of sea pirates have to transport their stolen treasures off their ship and onto land after a successful voyage plundering the high seas.
Game 1 ( Beginner )
You control a pirate who must grab a treasure chest from the pirate ship on the right side of the screen and transport it to a crew mate waiting on land on the left side of the screen.
You'll score 10 points for every treasure chest you successfully transport to your crew mate onshore. Be careful though of the eagle circling overhead who will try to grab the treasure from your hands.
There are also dangers in the water and on land to avoid. If you're eaten by a shark or get struck down by the pirate captain you'll lose one life. Lose all four of your lives and the game is over.
You can earn an extra life when your score reaches 100, 300, 500 and 1000 points. After reaching 300 points, you'll earn double points for every successful transporting.
Game 2 ( Advanced )
In this more challenging version of the game the tortoise, which acts as a bridge across the water, occasionally disappears making it more difficult to complete each crossing.
Game 3 ( Slots )
