Description

Snoopy plays tennis in this 1982 release in Nintendo's Game & Watch series of handheld electronic games.

Gameplay

Charlie Brown and Snoopy are playing tennis. When Charlie hits the tennis balls towards Snoopy, move Snoopy UP and DOWN to reach each ball. Press HIT to have Snoopy swing his racket and return the ball. Score 2 points for every ball hit.

Sometimes Lucy will join in on the action and intercept the ball hit by Snoopy and send it flying back towards him at twice the speed! Score 3 points for successfully returning a ball hit by Lucy.

When a ball gets by Snoopy a miss is scored. Score three misses and the game is over.

Tips & Tricks
  • Snoopy's swing must be timed perfectly to meet the ball. Pressing HIT when the ball is just in front of Snoopy's face will ensure the racket makes contact with the ball.

  • Timing the racket swing is also important because if Snoopy swings his racket and misses, he can not move up or down the tree until his racket returns to it's original position! But if you time the racket swing correctly and make contact with the ball you can immediately move up or down even before the racket returns to it's original position.

  • Reach 200 or 500 points (in every cycle of 1000 points) and all misses will be cleared. If there are no misses, the game goes in to CHANCE TIME for 50-70 seconds, during which balls returned by Snoopy from Charlie and Lucy are worth 5 and 6 points respectively.
