Description

Find the quickest way through a maze of underground tunnels to find bombs hidden below the city before they explode in this Game & Watch multi-screen handheld electronic game from Nintendo.

Gameplay

The villain Dynamite Jack is running around town and planting bombs underground. It's up to John Solver to find these bombs before they explode.

The game is played across two screens. The upper screen shows the part of the city above ground, and the lower screen shows the tunnels underground. When Dynamite Jack jumps down a manhole and plants a bomb John Solver must follow him and search the maze of underground tunnels and retrieve the bomb before the timer (shown in the upper screen) runs out. Sometimes Dynamite Jack plants more than one bomb in each maze. John Solver only needs to retrieve one of them.

When a bomb is found the time remaining on the timer is added to the score so the quicker John Solver makes it through the maze the more points will be earned. To get through the maze more quickly John Solver can push walls out of the way to shorten his path to the bomb as long as there isn't another wall ahead.

If John Solver fails to find a bomb before the timer runs out the bomb will explode and one life will be lost. Lose all three lives and the game is over.

There are two different game modes that can be played.

In Game A each round consists of 10 mazes. After completing the 10 mazes John Solver must make it through a bonus scrolling level where the maze moves from left to right.

In Game B the timer is shorter and each round consist of 15 mazes, with different mazes appearing each time you play.
